256. Chelsey Jade Curtis: Plant-Based Pregnancy, Self Confidence & Finding Balance

10.06.21

Uncategorized

Podcaster, health coach, and Jordan’s pregnancy twin, Chelsey Jade Curtis, comes on the show for a girly get-together to chat about plant-based pregnancy, professional growth in the not-always-so-friendly public sphere, and recovery from disordered eating.

There are so many juicy nuggets for everyone to feel inspired by, from Chelsea’s journey to becoming a podcaster, dealing with public criticism, and how she integrated her shadow, to her painful struggle with disordered eating, path to healing, and how IIN health coach training galvanized her passion for nutrition, science, and psychology.

Of course, there are LOTS of pregnancy parallels to dive into. Chelsey opens up about letting go of perfectionism to trust her body – even when it’s calling for IHOP pancakes and her  intentions were to only eat clean. She and Jordan also bond over their plant-based pregnancy experiences, and dealing with “mommy police” opinions on diet, restrictions, and animal protein myths. Plus: imagining how this Christmas will look very different for both of them with a boy baby Sag or Capricorn in the mix (due dates are a week apart from each other)!
